In Rakonto :
WE TRAIN AND INFORM ON EXISTING SOLUTIONS
Rakonto is an association created in 2021.
Here, we highlight solutions to social and environmental problems that already exist in order to inspire others.
We educate and inform: we educate young and old about current issues through Erasmus+ projects. The articles, videos and photos we produce are freely available on this website.
OUR MISSIONS
ERASMUS + AND NON-FORMAL EDUCATION
We want to broaden our impact by working with various NGOs and in particular with young people from all over Europe within the framework of Erasmus + projects.
The objective will always be to raise awareness on certain social themes or environmental while offering non-formal education on methods of storytelling but also critical thinking, digital marketing, etc.
INTERVENE NEAR SCHOOLS
From the beginning, we have been working closely with primary and middle schools in the South West of France because it is essential for us that the stories we tell reach the youngest and allow them to take a different look at the world around them.
RAISE AWARENESS OF CURRENT ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES
FUNDACIÓN MONTECITO
Located in the Boyaca region of Colombia, Fundación Montecito is working to protect Lake Tota whose integrity is threatened by intensive cultivation of onion around it.
In March 2020, Le Tour du monde en 80 défis helped the Fundación Montecito to organize an environmental festival near Lake Tota.
ECO-HOSTEL MONTE BARRO
In northern Italy at the top of Monte Barro on Lake Como, an eco-hostel operates under the supervision of the large Italian NGO Legambiente .
The objective of this eco-hostel is to instill a way to travel ecologically and sustainably by promoting an alternative way of thinking and through different activities.
Clean-up, up-cycling, sale of local or fair trade products, ect.
PRESERVING HUMAN CULTURAL HERITAGE
MEET THE ARHUACOS
In the North-East of Colombia, in the mountains on the border of Venezuela lives the indigenous people of the Arhuacos .
Their desire to spread the ancestral knowledge of their civilisation pushes them to welcome travelers from all around the world to initiate them into some of this knowledge.
DREAMING OF ADVENTURE
THE MOROCCAN TOUAREG
A nomadic people who used to live in the Oases of the Sahara , the Tuareg way of life is today threatened by the increasing periods of drought
due to global warming .
In October 2019, Le Tour du monde en 80 défis interviewed Mohamed, a 75-year-old Tuareg who has slowly seen his situation change along with the climate.
LA FABBRICA DEL FARÒ
Even today, many women find themselves in an extremely precarious situation alone with their child(ren) and without work.
La Fabbrica del Farò is a land of opportunity for these women. The non-formal education, art, and positivity of this community gives them the time and the means to bounce back into a brighter future.
PROMOTE ALTERNATIVE LIFESTYLES
Being fervent followers of alternative travel methods, we share with you our experience on these slower, more human, more sustainable modes of travel but above all much more exciting and rewarding!
TRAVEL BY SAILBOAT
Between October 2019 and January 2020 we cross the Atlantic by "boat-hitchhiking" using 3 different sailboats.
TRAVEL IN
VAN
After the purchase in July 2020 of an old converted van, Corentin traveled across Europe.
